• Fingerprinting is required of all new district employees

    New York State law requires that the Office of School Personnel Review and Accountability conduct fingerprint supported criminal history background checks for applicants for certification and all prospective employees of school districts. 
     
    Fingerprinting packets can be picked up in the Akron Central Schools District office or they can be orderd online by filling out a request form located on the NYS Education Department website.  Click here to fill out the online request for Fingerprint Cards.
