*Please note the recent amendment to the Labor Law signed by Governor Cuomo on October 21, 2013: 
 
"This amendment shifts the issuance of child model permits to the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL), thus, public schools, nonpublic schools, and BOCES will no longer issue child modeling permits. Effective immediately, the NYSDOL's Division of Labor Standards has assumed all responsibility for the issuance of Child Model Permits in the State of New York.
