Mrs. Burtis, Ms. Daigler & Mrs. Nieman
Hello! We are Akron Elementary's Reading Specialists. We provide remedial reading services to qualifying students in Grades K-5. The goal of our program is to strengthen reading, listening, speaking and writing skills so that each student can be a confident, successful and independent learner. In addition, we work closely with classroom teachers to support their instruction in order to meet all students' literacy needs.
