LIFEGUARD – 3 Positions
TEMPORARY - PART-TIME
NOT TO EXCEED 19 HOURS PER WEEK

HOURLY RATE: $20.00

DATES NEEDED: October 21, 2026 – February 5, 2027

Qualifications:

Completion of an approved American Red Cross Lifeguard training program or other lifeguard training
program as stipulated by the New York State Sanitary Code. All lifeguards are required to possess
American Red Cross (ARC) Basic Life Support for the Professional Rescuer cardiopulmonary
resuscitation (CPR) or a CPR equivalent. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation certificates must be renewed
annually.

Sample of Duties:

Stands watch or patrols swimming pool and goes to swimmer’s aid when it appears that they are having
difficulties;
Applies resuscitation techniques and otherwise render first aid;
May instruct beginners in swimming;
Maintains order and enforces rules and regulations.

SCHOOL MONITOR- ANTICIPATED - ES Lunch Room

10-MONTH PART-TIME
MINIMUM HIRE RATE: $16.00Hour
Normal Hours: 10:15 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.

Monday - Friday

Duties:
-Assists with supervision of students during lunch in the Elementary School Cafeteria.

Special Qualifications:
-Ability to safely monitor students and positively reinforce positive cafeteria behavior and expectations.

TEACHER AIDE - Up to 13 Weeks

ANTICIPATED STARTING DATE: ASAP - November 13, 2026 (Approximately) (Cheerleading Season)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge and understanding of children
• Ability to work cooperatively with others
• Able to perform physical movements along with student

Experience:  Prior experience (preferred) working in a school setting

Duties:  In general a teacher aide will assist the coach and student in carrying out the prescribed program along with related tasks as required under the guidance and approval of the coach, athletic director, building principal and/or the director of special education. The teacher aide will provide supervision for student with health and safety concerns.
