Financial Literacy Classes Highlighted by NYSSBA

The Akron Central School District's work to increase students' financial literacy was recently featured in On Board, the official publication of the New York State School Boards Association.

The article featured personal finance classes at Akron High School, which covers topics such as budgeting, banking, taxes, investing, stocks, bonds. 

"People need to be informed so they can take care of themselves and their families," said teacher Karen Saeli.
