'Into the Woods' scheduled for March 13-14

Students from Akron High School and Middle School will be performing the musical "Into the Woods" during shows on March 13-14, 2026.
The show, featuring music from award-winning composter Stephen Sondheim, centers on a baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse, and wind up changed forever.
The show will be performed at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 13, and there are shows at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 14. To purchase tickets for the show, which are $12 for adults, $10 for students and seniors, visit https://akronmusical.ludus.com/index.php
