Navigating Traffic Change at ACS

To help ensure a safe and efficient traffic flow, all parents will enter campus using the Athletic Service Road.
Elementary Families: The drop-off and pick-up process will remain the same as in previous years. After entering campus via the Athletic Stadium Service Road (Tiger Trail), parents should proceed through the designated Elementary School drop-off/ pick-up lane. Once your child has been dropped off or picked up, please continue through the traffic pattern and exit campus using the driveway next to the elementary parking lot onto Bloomingdale Road.
All Elementary School families will receive pick-up cards prior to the start of the school year. Please display your pick-up card each afternoon to help us ensure a safe and efficient dismissal process.
UPK Pick-Up: The only change this year is for our UPK families. All UPK student pick-ups will take place at the Elementary School front entrance (Door #2) rather than through the regular pick-up line.
Middle School Families: Middle school Upcoming Events Tuesday, August 25 6th Grade Orientation- 6:00 PM AUD parents will also enter campus using the Athletic Stadium Service Road (Tiger Trail). As MS parents approach the drop off and pick-up points please be sure your car is facing towards the Tennis court complex to provide you a counter clockwise loop to exit back down the Athletic Stadium Service Road (Tiger Trail). After dropping off or picking up your child, please continue back down the Athletic Service Road and exit at the north end of the athletic complex, which will return you to Bloomingdale Road.
***Families with students in both buildings can drop off all students at either building, and students can walk inside to their respective buildings.

We greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work together to keep traffic moving safely and efficiently for all of our students and families. Numerous Akron CSD staff will be on hand to assist with traffic flow as we roll out this change.
