The 2025 New York State School Boards Association (NYSSBA) Art Show is now live! Presented by the New York State Art Teachers Association (NYSATA), the show features artwork by three Akron seniors: Benjamin Gerstung, Carly Hoffman, and Kenan Hatswell. All three artists are current AP students with Mrs. Cornell-Slater. Congratulations to Ben, Carly and Kenan!

NYSATA set a new record from their membership with 610 submissions representing 94 school districts throughout New York State!
Special recognition goes to Rylie McInerna, grade 12 (teacher Marielle Martin) from Bethlehem Central High School, and Stella Zappia, grade 4 (teacher Tom Finn) from Ogden Elementary School. These young artists' work were selected for the NYSATA/NYSSBA show cards presented to over 1500 attendees at this year's conference that was held October 23-25 in New York City.
Access to the virtual art exhibit is available through December 31, 2025.
