American Rescue Plan - Elem. & Secondary School Emergency Relief Program (ARP-ESSER) Funding Plan
This plan identifies how the Akron Central School District will use Federal COVID-19 Relief Funding to address the academic, social-emotional, and safety needs of students caused by the pandemic.

This plan outlines the focus and strategies that will guide the District in achieving its mission and objectives.

Professional Development Plan
This plan outlines professional development activities and requirements for tenured and non-tenured teachers. This plan is coordinated with the District Strategic Plan.

Annual Performance Review Plan (APPR)
RESOLVED, that pursuant to New York Education Law Section 3012-d, the Board of Education of the Akron Central School District hereby adopts the outline for the Annual Professional Performance Review (APPR) plan as presented by the Superintendent, subject to the ongoing negotiation requirement as indicated in the APPR outline, and subject to the Board's approval of the new APPR plan.The Board further directs the continued use of the APPR plan currently in place in the District until such time as the Board acts to modify or replace said plan.The Board further directs the Superintendent to post the same on the District's website in compliance with New York Education Law and regulations. -
Local Assistance Plan (LAP) Diagnostic Self-Review Document & Report Template
The Diagnostic Self-Review Document provides an opportunity for the school, with the assistance of the district, to assess it’s current level of performance in regard to the school leadership, teacher practices and decisions, curriculum development and support, student social and emotional developmental health, and family and community engagement.

Academic Intervention Services
Akron provides support for all students who have not met the NYS standards as reflected on 3-12 State and Regents exams. Services are also provided for Pre-K - 2 students who need additional support.

Title 1 Reading and Math School-Parent Compact
Agreement between the school and parents working cooperatively to provide for successful education.

Comprehensive K-12 Student Support Services Program
The Akron Central School District's Comprehensive K-12 School Counseling Program aims to highlight the mission, philosophy and goals of the Student Support Services Team, define the roles of the school counselors, school psychologists, and Native American counselors, and illustrate how these individuals help students develop a set of competencies that ultimately assist them in meeting the New York State Learning Standards.
