The February "Homegrown Assembly" featured a rendition of "America the Beautiful" by a trio of singers and special acts from the classes of Mrs. Gehl, Mrs. Best and Mrs. Grefrath.  Character awards were presented to a student from each grade level, too. 

     The highlight of the assembly was the pie throwing in celebration of the school's collection of $1,004.64 for Pennies for Patients which helps the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society research for a cure.
