• Instruments and Required Equipment 
     
       A.  Instrument Rental:  The school owns and rents a limited number of instruments, (mostly strings).  If your child rents a school instrument, he is required to pay the rental fee by the beginning of October.  Any major repair due to neglect or carelessness becomes your responsibility.  Normal maintenance costs will be assumed by the school.  All other instruments must be rented from an area music store.  If you purchase an instrument for your child, please remember to check with your homeowners policy to see if it can be covered.  Keep a record of the instruments brand name and serial number.
     
        
     
     
         B.  Required Equipment:  Reeds, oil, cleaning supplies, books, etc.  may be purchased at local music stores.  All clarinets and saxophones should have at least three good reeds at all times!
