NYS Seal of Civic Readiness

The Seal of Civic Readiness through New York State is a distinction on a high school transcript and diploma. This is currently offered to ALL students in Akron High School. Students are already eligible through their successful completion of Social Studies courses and exams.In addition to points earned through Social Studies courses and exams, students will need to engage in community service, action research, and complete a capstone project and reflection to earn the Seal on their diploma.
