Welcome to our Capital Improvement Project informational webpage!  The community voted to approve the proposed 2023 Capital Improvement Project during the annual vote held May 16, 2023.  Going forward, this webpage will continue to feature information showing the progress of the project. On Tuesday, May 16, 2023, voters approved (496-337) Proposition #4 authorizing the Capital Improvements Project 2023, at an estimated maximum cost of $29,829,634.

The approved capital project addresses critical building preservation needs and facilities improvements throughout the campus that were identified after two years of thoughtful planning discussions, careful review of building conditions, stakeholder input forums, and analysis of feedback from the community stakeholder survey.

The approved project supports our intent to provide students with access and opportunities for an excellent educational experience while preserving and enhancing community assets for generations to come. The project includes upgrades to the public address system, auditorium stage, lighting and sound enhancements, renovations to restrooms, gymnasiums, pool equipment and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing improvements.

Additionally, the project includes a new employee area, office, and restroom addition at the transportation facility, and necessary improvements to the existing building. An exciting highlight of the project is the construction of a new multi-sport athletic complex with an 8-lane track and field stadium, turf field, LED lighting, scoreboard, parking lot and roadway improvements, and renovations to the existing concession stand.
